I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but there is way too much delay in between when you knock someone down, jump in their guard and attempt to GnP. The transition from jumping in someone's guard to attempting GnP should be smooth and fluid, with no delay. Right now what we have is something where we jump on someone and are tapping buttons, waiting for a fighters strikes to come out. It should be more like this...

From the initial punch into guard and fluidly into GnP. No delay.

It's like there was a fence grab and the referee puts them back in position - "everyone ready? okay, go!" Yeah, it is so delayed, it feels like the downed fighter has all the time in the world to come back to their senses before I can strike.

Yeah, Undisputed 3 nailed this perfectly. You could immediately follow up a rocked opponent into a TKO scenario. In EA UFC it has always been slow and awkward.

Everything about the ground game is slow and awkward.

its really really bad.

Tried playing as Tito the other day and i realized i forgot how terrible the GNP was, you can be sitting in postured up full guard mashing the square button to strike and your guy just sits there. Its baaaad.

Not to mention the spear takedown after rocking someone. LMAO, when did everyone turn into goldberg?

Anyone know why it is like this? There is such a long pause I almost never land punches after following someone down

Often experience the same delayed lag even just when posturing up to strike. Youll posture up, mash strikes, but like a full second or 2 goes by before you'll actually start striking.

Yh its bad cuz you have a guy stunned and your mashing buttons and nothing is happening till like a second later. It kinda even gives them time to recover.
