Re: PES is going to have a demo
Have not followed this game at all, but as always will download the demo on 'opening night'.
Good to see the German national team are licensed (well i assume so because they are playable team in the demo...). Any word on the Bundesliga being back, licensed or not?Comment

Re: PES is going to have a demo
Its another year with no licensed or unlicensed Bundesliga, its an EA exclusive.
Its very frustrating, once again so many players will be missing from ML because of this.- Waiting for PES to reclaim it's throne, looks like its going to be a long wait.

Re: PES is going to have a demo
I am sick of this licensing BS. Really hurts this game. Shame that it occurs in sports gaming.
Got one match in this morning before work. Hard to tell much from that. Only one foul in the match which is not good. Looked at the tactics sliders, seem nice but hopefully they work as intended.
CPU played possession football in a realistic manner which was nice to see. Back and forth passing, back passing, not the constant rush to move forward that plagues the competition's game. I have no worries knowing I can play 15 or 20 minute halves and enjoy football the way it is intended to be played.
Movement felt "stiff" after playing the other game. Not sure if that is the best way to put it. Again need more time, just something that I felt initially.
Looking forward to playing more tonight.Comment

Re: PES is going to have a demo
I liked it. Not a huge soccer fan so I might've been missing important stuff. (I noticed elsewhere some people are quite upset with it) It felt good to score goals, like I actually earned them and worked for them and it wasn't just a lucky bounce my way or scored just because it was some fancy shot the game wanted to show off. I didn't play PES 2009 so I can't compare it to that.Comment

Re: PES is going to have a demo
Based on three games so far.
Pros
- Graphics
- The tactics and the way it affects the players on the pitch is first class.
- Shooting
- Presentation
- Player switching
- Radar
Cons
- Response times
- Animations, especially the running.
- On the pitch sounds are a disgrace.
- Atmosphere is poor.
- The players are so rigid, it ruins the fluidity of the game.
- Some passes don't go in the direction you want. (I'm using the stick, say no to the dpad!)
- COM is obsessed with chipped through balls, even the when the situation doesn't call for it.
Looks like I'll be visiting my mistress every day based on this demo, another year separated from my wife.
I won't cancel my pre order though, I'll give the game a month or so at the very least. She has treated me very well in the past, its the least I can do.
In all seriousness it pains me how far EA are ahead of Konami in some aspects of the game. Fair play to EA though, they stepped their game up big time while Konami got complacent.- Waiting for PES to reclaim it's throne, looks like its going to be a long wait.
