the football game ive got the most enjoyment out of this year is pes 2011..for ps2.

I have pretty high hopes. PES made a lot of strides this year and I enjoy playing it far more than FIFA. Everyone harps on licenses, but PES sure plays a lot more like real soccer.

Agree. Fifa is very good but in the end is candy. PES is a truly rewarding game.

much more excited for PES. PES just feels more true to life. The build up play, the passing it around to break down the defense, the tactics. Much better.

PES 2011 had quite a few flaws but in the end was a more rewarding and realistic game. An improved and refined version of 2011 will warrant a buy from me. I'm holding off judgement on FIFA until I can play it and see if they really made strides on the defensive pressure.

I agree, chadskee. PES 2011 is far more enjoyable to me than FIFA, and I'm hoping they clean up some of the problems. I like hearing some of the supposed improvements that are being made for FIFA 12, but I'm gonna need to see those to believe them.

They most probably will. Konami has realized the mistakes they've made in the past and have listened to fans.

I will end up getting both Fifa 12 and Pes 12 this year. Many just don't realize how both games compliment each other. Where one is weak in a certain area the other is stronger and vice versa. If you really love soccer than both should be appealing to buy. If funds are limited then yes one will need to be selective. Personally, I can't wait for their arrival as competition has bred two great soccer games!

With the strides made in PES 2011, I am more than confident that 2012 will be amazing. It has been and will be the more authentic soccer experience for the true fan of the lovely game.

Im right with ya there. It feels so much more like a real broadcast because of the color pallete and great graphics. I am going to get 12 but I hope they make the crowd better looking thats the only thing in my opinion that is dragging the game down in terms of graphics

PES 11 has some flaws, but overall I still enjoy the game and play 2-3 games every night. Addicted to BAL that I've forgotten what ML is. LOL.

IMO graphics are not the major hangup. I want better on the field play, smarter AI, and more depth in ML and BAL. I hope they can add more teams and leagues as well. IE more levels to the EPL. Hopefully PES 12 will clean this up.

You guys seem to be lacking on info. I all suggest that you check out WENB http://winningelevenblog.com because there is a TON of info on the game as well as several journalist impressions and a podcast as well. Lots and Lots of info.

I check that website daily. Just because some people don't post all the info, doesn't mean they don't know about it. In my case I pretty well informed
