Re: PES 2014 PC
Downloaded the game yesterday from Gamesplanet since no one seems to know when the PC version will be released in the USA. Totally legit site other than a few minor inconveniences (like waiting hours for an activation code). If you're from the States and thinking of ordering, GO FOR IT! Paypal works tremendously and it will show you the exchange rate before purchasing (mine came to $41 USD plus Mastercard's "cross border fee", a great deal).
After waiting overnight for it to be verified through e-mail, I got to play a few quick matches this morning. HUGE improvement over the console versions in terms of visuals and performance (I played the demo for 360 and "Premium" demo/limited full game for PS3). I also second that the players feel "weightier" than on console.
So far, I'm loving the gameplay, animations and new engine. Glad there's also many commentary languages because Champion/Beglin have been grinding my eardrums for far too long. I know people have complained about the player faces, but I personally prefer the new PES faces to the minor/generic/unscanned player face models in FIFA.
Overall, an awesome yearly upgrade in spite of the unfortunate cuts they had to make --- I kept my 360 version of PES2013 for that reason only. Good step forward, and I'm expecting huge things on next-gen consoles from PES. I just hope Konami follows suit with the PC version instead of going the route of their competition and using the PS3/360 engine.
