I decided to pull the trigger on PES for this year (I briefly considered NBA2k) and went ahead and pre-ordered on Steam. So I thought it would be a good idea to connect with others who will be playing on PC.

Same here. I usually do not play online, but the beta was so much fun. I would be down for some 3v3 or league if we can get enough.

I'm not sure what to expect with this year's PES, but something we did years ago that worked quite well (IMO) was a 4-star league. We did it in FIFA, so I'm not sure how PES rates it's teams, but the basic idea was to get rid of all the big teams and only use the smaller teams 4 stars and less. It forces some interesting choices when you can't play with a stacked team.

Weird, wonder why I'm not showing.

Has anyone ordered from CDKeys before? They have the release date as 9/14, which I know is the UK date. I'm curious if I order tonight if I'll get it earlier since I'm in the US?

Konami confirmed the Steam global release will be today, September 13 at 15:00 PDT

If you haven't already, send me a friend request on steam. We've got some people playing and there's certainly room for more. We've got a Steam Group that can grow as people find out how well this game plays online.

If you've previously posted here, and I haven't added you, it's because you either don't know your Steam ID (trust me, I tried the name and nothing came up) or there's like 5 people with your same ID. So send me the request and I can add you.

Lazoli and I played some games last night with mics and the Steam setup for mics seem to work very well. They do a good job of noise cancelling and a push to talk doesn't seem needed so you can focus on playing instead.

Yeah, we had some good games last night. Mic worked perfectly too!

Not sure about why I still can't find some players on Steam though.
