Very, very impressed

Konami have tighten up pretty much everything that needed tightening.

POSITIVES
+ The new camera angle is fantastic
+ There are far more (realistic) deflections
+ The pass assist seems to be toned down (finally).
+ Playing good positional defence is rewarding (finally), as you have a better chance of blocking a pass or dispossessing the CPU. Well overdue!
+ The ball physics are great
+ AI is smarter - better positioning of both CPU and AI- controller teammates.
+ Great variety
+ Playing with weaker teams is really noticeable - more errors / more passes going astray.

NEGATIVES
- There are still some legacy issues but they are slowly being eradicated
- The ref is very whistle happy, calling all sorts of things, some of them never a foul.
- The right stick / left stick dribbles are still quite clunky and slow
- The grass looks kind of fake
- Resolution is very low (but I guess this is because it is a demo).

I can't say enough about the ball. It feels more like a separate object than it has in any other game before. The physics are fantastic. Makes for a lot of interesting situations.

I played a few matches and I can say the midfield does seem a lot tighter than before but iaxy mentioned there are still a few legacy issues especially with the back line defence being a little to far back for my liking which can lead to direct passes to the CF way too often. Also generic faces still are unchanged and presentation is....well you know. Other than that I like the changes they made shooting and passing is better, there seems to be a lot of fouls but once you stop holding X and barging in I started committing a lot less fouls. Overall, it seems better but I still do see me picking this up on release date as I need to see what changes happen around then.

It has 20 teams in PEU but we can't edit team league limit in the demo but I have a feeling it won't go above 20.

What’s weird is that a lot of the English club names are in there.

Chelsea
Leicester

It has 20 teams in PEU but we can't edit team league limit in the demo but I have a feeling it won't go above 20.

Is it easy to edit the teams though?
Or can we not do it in the demo at all?

Against the CPU in a good fun, but online it's horrible. It's a one-two fest and through balls from defence all the way to the wingers.

The legacy issues are slowly but surely rearing their ugly heads.
The biggest issue is the huge space in midfield, though this year is slightly better.

I can only play with 13 teams.
