PES 2021 on PS5

Played a few games yesterday after transferring the data from my PS4 and the gameplay seems a bit smoother. Not sure if anyone who’s played can validate this, or maybe it’s my imagination lol

One great thing is that the data transfer takes care of the all the option file content, so the kits etc are all intact

I'd read earlier that another way of doing it, if you apply the data directly via PS5, is that you have to install and apply the images separately. I haven't tried this myself, but it would be a bit of a chore to have to manually apply the kit images for every club.

I finally got my hands on a PS5 this week and have it all set up now. Transferring data was really easy and if I am saying that, trust me, it is really easy! So glad the option files transferred over too. I know it's not that difficult to implement anyway but it saved me 40 minutes lol!

As for the gameplay itself. It does seem a little smoother as said in the OP. One thing that I have felt too, is the AI teams seem to play a little better too. Not much better but playing on the same settings I have been on PS4 there just seems to be a very slight difference in how the AI play. I watch TheTrueBrits YouTube channel and he has literally just said the same thing in one of his videos. Anyone else feel the same?

Also, I have noticed when recording gameplay for uploading to YouTube, the file sizes are waaaaayyyyyy bigger even for a mp.4 file. Example, on PS4 when I transfer one 15 min game to a USB drive and then to my laptop for editing, it's around 1GB. The same file on PS5 is 2.7GB! It certainly affects the time it takes to transfer everything onto my laptop for editing. Unfortunately my laptop doesn't recognize the higher resolution file.

Really like the feel of the new controller too. Seems much better than the old type that's for sure.

Just wanted to share these observations in case anyone else is getting a PS5 or has recently got one.
