Best case scenario is the mobile gamblers keep the game alive long enough for them to make a decent game by 2023 and hope the other football games that have been announced don't kill it off before then.

Exactly. What was Konami doing all this time? They had two years to work on next gen. This doesn't seem to be going in the right direction. The fans have a right to be unhappy.

What year is the? What's with the cell or video camera vid? It did seem a little fast but I don't know if that's a bad thing. I am not fond of EA slow playing sports games like Madden.

Will the AI still score goals that involve 75 straight perfectly placed one-touch passes while your AI either conveniently stands still or actively moves out of the way of obvious passing lanes to setup an outside foot bender from out of the box goals finally be addressed, or we just going to still have near perfect gameplay plagued by some of the most obvious scripting ever seen in sports gaming?

Is there a single sports game development team that even cares about offline gaming? More and more am I convinced that the PS2/Xbox/GC era was the golden age of sports gaming.

Spoony Pizzas played a build of it. It sounds like it plays solid. Actually looks and sounds good on a next gen console. He mentioned some issues but they don't seem overly troubling so far. Konami are just horrible at PR and communication. Now only if we had solid news about ML or any offline single player modes.
