I love how the as they progressed through each project you can really sense the synergy + connection being built.

"I'm on Fire" is gonna be on repeat for a minute. The Street Fighter II & NBA Jam samples put it over the top too. *chef's kiss*

I know it's more R&B than hip hop, but SZA's SOS is ****ing awesome.

A great album - much like CNTRL - but the stand - outs are "Low" and "Snooze."

This upcoming Friday should be just as dope with Ab-Soul's album dropping.

Great year for TDE too. They'll miss the megastar that is K.Dot, but they got a great roster beyond him.

Likely unpopular opinion, but I think SOS is an even better album than CTRL. Low and Snooze are great, Kill Bill was wild. Ex Pack where she actually raps was cool. And Forgiveless had me shook with Dirt McGirt. Loved it.


Way too hyped for Friday. Gonna be quite the think piece. Soulo is definitely my second favorite modern rapper to KDot. Control System is in my top 5 or so favorite albums. So my expectations are high and I'm really gassed up for it. Ready for that one.


They really are fine without Kendrick, so long as Top doesn't continue to wait so long to let them drop. Q has to be due up sometime in 2023 I'd hope. Rock is long overdue too. The one ****ty thing about KDot leaving is never getting that Black Hippy joint.

Both are good enough to stand on their own.

It’s really not hitting for me for some reason. I feel like the singles are my favorites, spent so much time listening to I Hate You, Nightbird, and Joni when those leaked and I’ll probably just stick to those. Snooze, 23 songs is too ****ing many, super disappointing year for R&B to me I feel like.

On the other hand, have had the first half of Heroes & Villains on repeat basically. I’ve heard Superhero so many times in the last week I’m expecting to wake up in the middle of the night screaming “SHOUT OUT TO DALLAS MY BITCH IS A STAR.”
