Funny People, and then you stop. Or at least I have.

Oh yeah. Watch that one, definitely. Very good movie.

Might be a couple between that and Click that need to be skipped though.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?

Funny People put me to sleep.

I saw Anchorman 2 today. It was alright. Typical Will Farrell stuff. My favorite part was the news team battle royal. My least favorite part was the kid actor. I usually dont rip kids but man they must have cast some producer's kid for that role because the damn kid couldnt act for anything. He had some great lines too that fell flat!

I also saw 50/50 sometime last week. I liked it. Seth Rogen was annoying me a little bit, but I guess he was there to contrast JGL. Cool movie.

I'd stop at Reign Over Me, didn't care for Funny People

I thought the second one was hilarious and better than the first.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?

Chef

Saw it with my folks, knowing nothing about it beforehand. I wouldn't walk into this thing hungry, otherwise it will get your stomach churning. I also wouldn't watch it if you're a diehard vegetarian. Anyway, Jon Favreau and John Leguizamo have a great veneer that shine in a low budget flick such as this one. In fact, the entire cast was just fine. I think some actors/actresses were too underused, but for the film's heart I can see why they weren't needed. I just don't know why those specific cast members were needed then is all. I think Dustin Hoffman's character though was just a wasted travesty. If there's a complaint I had with the film, it stood then and there.

It's riddled with jokes here and there, but mostly it just goes and delivers the goods. It's set in the very modern days of us using mobile technology for Twitter, Vine, etc. In my opinion, although I don't use any of those things (hell, I just have a flip phone), it's kind of what connects our last generation with this generation in a film that also educates children a little bit about the cultural side of things.

Good film. Nothing raunchy but there are a few F-bombs (very socially acceptably dropped, as opposed to the sexual connotation). I enjoyed it, and was really happy that Favreau could hold this film on his shoulders with a nice level of professionalism and seriousness.

My neices wanted to see Beauty and the Beast. I gotta say it's still my favorite movie about Stockholm syndrome.
