Absolutely, you gotta see it Jaybee. It's a classic mini series and its top tier of the mini series/shows HBO has done.

And a young James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. Also a young Tom Hardy!

Re: What movies have you seen recently?

Finally saw the jungle book. Been forever since I saw the cartoon movie. And I remember reading /listening to the audio cassette read along with the book back in grade 1. I forgot a fair amount, but remembered the characters and especially the two songs.

The movie was way better than any other version of it. And that acting from a kid basically by himself in these scenes too since rest were CGI characters. Reminded me a bit of Tarzan in a way, but still better.

Damn really? Never realized that. I guess I'll have to watch it again soon.

Yeah, look for McAvoy in 'Replacements', Fassbender is there pretty much throughout but doesn't have a lot of lines. He's in several shots though, and especially in the scene where the company shows up at the camp in 'Why We Fight', standing near Winters.

Hardy you see for sure in 'Points', if not elsewhere in final couple of episodes.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?

Sounds like Warner brothers is gonna produce a fan made film about origin story of "He who must not be named" aka Tom Riddle. Harry Potter character for those who didn't get it. Has no direct connection to Harry Potter series though.

That movie could be good. That's one story I've been most interested in seeing but it won't happen in a direct series manner. Harry Potter world from the rise of you know who, up until the night he tried killing Harry as a baby. There's alot of interesting things to have in it. How he got his followers, how the good guys tried rebelling and fighting them off, the whole first wizard war. And obviously movie ends with how harry Potter series started.

I have mixed emotions on this project.
