Mine blue screen of death'd on me a couple times a few nights ago. I have no idea why. Hasn't done it since.

That was weird. I haven't seen that screen since, like, Windows 98 or something.

The show desktop button is now in the bottom right of the taskbar.

And is also included in the Alt+Tab menu.

And holding the Windows button and the space bar at the same time shows the desktop, with transparent borders of open applications.

Some of us like it on the bottom left like Windows XP, thank you very much.

Then put it there.

Right click taskbar, toolbars>new toolbar
In the location paste "%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch" without quotes
Click go (blue arrow) then select folder
Move it to the left, right click the quicklaunch and deselect show text and show title
Right click toolbar and lock it.

Still seems like a petty complaint IMO.

Re: Anyone upgrading to Windows 7?

Is there a way to make it so when you launch a window from your pinned item bar, that the pinned item bar just stays as icons and whatever you're launching opens to the right of it? Also, is there a way to scrunch the pinned item bar? Takes up a ton of space.

Also, any way to make it so the windows you're opened on isn't that weird ugly white on the toolbar?

I know how to do it, and I don't have Windows 7. But thanks anyway
