re: Saturday Night Live

The sketch "I Didn't Ask for This" had me rolling when Hamm did that embarrassing cry. I love when he hosts, he's becoming Alec Baldwin 2.0.

re: Saturday Night Live

The upcoming schedule looks like:

11/13/10: Scarlett Johannson/Arcade Fire
11/20/10: Anne Hathaway/MG: Florence and the Machines
12/18/10: Jeff Bridges/

With Due Date coming out, I would have loved to see Downey Jr. return to SNL.
Once The Social Network gets an Oscar Nomination, hopefully JT comes back to host.

I've been waiting for Jay to come out with his rap impressions. I'm glad he's been doing good.

He's been on point with his impressions. For those who missed his Eddie Murphy and Denzel skit:

Agreed. Remember during Baldwin's original hosting gigs, he was the most serious guy on the face of the planet. Just like Hamm's character on Mad Men. It's refreshing to see how goofy he is when he's not in Don Draper character.

Hamm and Scarlett are my favorite hosts in recent memory. Scarlett always nails her skits, she's the ultimate professional.

The Unstoppable Trailer was also good. Jay's impression of Denzel is hilarious.

She fascinates me in that she's able to keep it cool no matter how many cast members are close to breaking on screen. I'm not sure how she does it, keeps a straight face and still utters the lines that will only make the rest of the cast continue to laugh.

re: Saturday Night Live

She almost broke during the Stars of Tomorrow sketch, when they were doing a scene from Brokeback Mountain. She ultimately kept it together though.

As for Hamm, yes he's definitely become one of my favorite hosts. I like that he doesn't take himself too seriously, he was in the season finale of Children's Hospital on [as] a couple of weeks ago too.

I'll take a good long look at Scarlett whenever I can so she's up there too.

re: Saturday Night Live

SNL has been on life support for a few years now. It used to be entire episodes where hilarious but now you have to really get lucky to see just one funny skit.

I wonder how much longer it's going to stay on the air. I know people still follow the show, but to see how far it's fallen in even the last 10 years is terrible.

I was rolling when Jay Pharaoh broke into his Drake impression.

While I definitely don't like the show as much as I used to, people said that same thing when Farley, Sandler and that whole crew was on the show in the 90's.
