I'm still considering this one out of a few others.

I haven’t noticed any banding , I have been watching it since I picked it up earlier this evening, and I watch the Chiefs game tonight and it looked great. No issues over here thus far.

Hows this one Scott?

This should be good, any cons in your opinion?

60 hz (bad for sports, movies)
No wide color gamut (only does 16.7 million colors as opposed to 1 billion+
Not True HDR

I'd at the very least do the NU8000 instead.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung...?skuId=6199828

Plus Samsung has a promo going on with Best Buy right now, where if you don't have the Best Buy Credit Card, you can get 20% back in rewards (about $240 to spend back in the store) or take advantage of the 24 month 0 interest financing...

Yeah that seems like a terrible price for what you're getting. For that price I suggest the NU8000 like Scott said, or the Vizio P series. Both in that price range and both much better.

Thanks to Scott I'm learning about what makes a good TV. Been doing tons of research as well.

But beware of some QC issues with the panel. Lots of reports about banding issues. So you kinda have to play the panel lottery with this one.
