Great choice, what size did you end up going with?

55" That was the very limit of my budget. One day I'll go bigger.

One thing I wasn't able to get much clarification on is how well it upscales cable tv. I guess that would be 720p/1080i right? I watch a lot of sports on tv and the Vizio P just seems really weak in that department.

Also, one more question if you don't mind. I see that for 1080p input lag is 40ms. But 4K is like 23ms. Does this mean I will get the 40ms when playing games on my regular PS4?

Just so you know, you can get the Sony X950G for the same price as the 55" 900F.

Ok thanks. I'll check into it. It's already on the way so I'll have to try and see if I can figure something out. I've been packing up and returning so many TVs I might just stick with it. I got it for a couple hundred less anyway. So not sure if I can/want to put in the extra money.

Thanks for letting me know.

I should be able to live with the 900f. The situation was that my dad owed me money for some work I been doing for him this spring and he put it on his Amazon card and he took $250 off the price so I paid him the difference. So I can't really afford to put back in the rest. I assume I'm still getting a great TV.

I don't wanna bug him about doing a return and all that.

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

One more quick question though, with the 1080p lag at 40ms on the 900f will that mean I get that no matter what with the slim PS4 playing The Show? Or since it upscales will I get the lower lag of the 4K?

Someone said it would be the lower lag. I'm a bit worried about the 40ms. But I don't know if that's even enough to notice a difference. I just worry since the timing of swings and meter pitching have to be so precise.
