Looking for any similar experiences you guys may have with the OLED TVs and suggestions. I would like to to stay around $2400.

Don't do the BX, it's a good amount dimmer. As far as the window situation, do you have blinds or drapes on them? If so, then no big deal. Do it and don't look back.

I want to get a 4k led. I'm not super particular about tvs. But I'll ask for some suggestions. Mostly just play sports games.

I'm thinking about just getting a 55 in hisense. Probably gonna stay in a 400 dollar range.

For gaming, you'll want at least a TV that can do 120 hz with low latency. Recommendation is the Samsung 55" Q70, however, that's going to run you around $1000. You'll need to determine whats more important to you: quality or price.

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

So, quick update.

We moved in and the bonus/theatre room is actually smaller than we remembered and the sectional we're going to get will be off the wall, so a 65" TV is probably a better option.

To that end, I went ahead and got the Q70 after cancelling the previous order.

Little more cash to build an outdoor kitchen.

Thanks, y'all.

Ahh very nice, I may have to do the same down the road. Have you been using it as a monitor as well? What's your viewing distance?

yes, when using as a monitor i’m about 3 feet away, using it for gaming I just push my chair back a bit, as I only console game.

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

Has anybody gotten this. Kind of caught my attention. It's a pretty good price too.
