General Hulu Thread

Old news, but the entire Seinfeld series (180 episodes) comes to Hulu June 24th. Hulu paid $875,000 per episode.

The Hulu original Quick Draw, set in the old west, is a hilarious improvisational comedy.

I cannot imagine the royalties that the Seinfeld cast gets.

Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Michael Richards get approximately $100,000 per year in residual payments. Creators Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David are the ones who made the huge Seinfeld money after the show ended.

EDIT: Jerry's three co stars refused to promote or do interviews for the Seinfeld DVD at first, because not enough money was involved. Some financial boost was happened, because eventually they did.

Re: General Hulu Thread

As a Roku and no cable owner, I absolutely love HULU. The fact that Seinfeld is coming June 24th...is AMAZING. Super excited.

Re: General Hulu Thread

Hulu is showing one Seinfeld episode a day for 7 days, as they countdown to the 24th. Today's is The Chinese Restaurant (S2-E11), yesterday's was The Stakeout (S1-E2), which is still available.

Re: General Hulu Thread

Just got an email from Hulu saying they now have a commercial free option for $11.99. Needless to say, I immediately switched. This just made Hulu much more attractive.
