no idea what I'm going to do this season. I've read each book before i saw the show, so to spoil the book with this season just seems wrong, but i don't think i have the willpower not to watch it, or get spoiled, considering it may be another year before the book comes out

No, he suited (past tense) the role for the first couple of seasons. Now? Not even a little bit.

Or the Mountain. Seems like that is almost just a guest appearance role at this point they've recast it so much.

Why, cause he's grown so much? Dude's crawling, being carried or carted most of the time. It's not like they try to hammer the point that he's only 10 years old or whatever.

He doesn't speak much either. At least the current Mountain resembles the original Mountain they cast.
