November release on HBO Max. Just a 1 show special, but better than nothing.

Hopefully this can be big enough and we get a full series spinoff. Will and his kids obviously have to be in it. Not sure if Jazz would still want to be acting, but I saw his son in another show and he's really funny.

Hopefully "Real" Vivian is back, but that show is mortally wounded without Uncle Phil.

It's the new Aunt Viv. Old one will never return. She still holds a grudge over everything.

It will suck for sure without Uncle Phil, but even if he were alive, not sure how often he would've been in the show to begin with. He'd have been in his mid 70s.

Main focus I'd imagine is Will and Carlton, with Ashley, Hilary and yes, new Aunt Viv, being there too.

Thinking of who they could cast as Uncle Phil but can only come up with actors that can fill James Avery's commanding presence, like Laurence Fishburne, but not his comedic prowess. But they don't seem to be going for the comedic aspect so getting someone like Fishburne would be nice but he might be too old?

Seems James Avery was 45 when Fresh Prince started, Fishburne is 59. It might work, since I don't think this is going for the old "10 year sitcom" run. More of a limited series.

Amazing for that young man, made an amazing concept trailer and got Will Smith on board for at least a 2 season show. Very inspiring.

I'm wondering who actually is gonna be cast as Will. Talk about big shoes to fill, his charisma has to pop off the charts for this to work.
