M:I 6 - Mission Impossible (July 27, 2018)

Saw this last night and really enjoyed it. Felt Jason Bourne like in some of the action and driving scenes which isn't a bad thing since I love those movies. (that's subjective though, but there were some real short instances where it felt like that to me. Had some nice twists that I didn't see coming.

Henry Cavill felt a little too much like Clark Kent but I still enjoyed some of his lines and the way he delivered them. I thought he was awesome in the bathroom fight scene.

We all know Tom Cruise is a legend but damn, i can't believe he did that helicopter scene and operated the cameras in it. WOW. Oh and definitely check it out in IMAX, really awesome stunts in this one. it's really refreshing to see old school stunts instead of the cgi fest we have been accustomed to.

I'm not as in depth as blzer but I really enjoyed this one. Good, fun summer flick that kept you engaged throughout the whole movie. I've never been disappointed with a Mission Impossible movie.

I saw this tonight. It might just be recently bias, but I think it might be better than 3 or 4 for me. Great movie. It was hard to find a time to use the restroom midway through the movie because so much was going on!

What a great film franchise as the sequels are better than the original (with the exception of 2).

Though you will probably be entertained with Fallout regardless, it is highly recommended that you see Rogue Nation first. This is the first time that one feels like a direct sequel to another one of the films (and like I said, it has character attachments that importantly root as far back as the third film).

Both Rogue Nation and Ghost Protocol have been playing on FXM lately. If you have an On Demand service, it may be available until August 31st for you as it is for me. The Blu-ray is also $9.99 at Best Buy, which coincidentally is probably the best possible buy that can be had there! (I don't know if it comes with a ticket voucher or discount for Fallout)
