I've been saying for quite some time to not listen to reviews, especially for comic book movies, and to just see them and judge them for yourself.

I think the ones reviews get wrong are the ones that aren't supposed to be good movies but just entertaining like Transformers and Power Rangers. All of the legit good comic movies we've gotten have shifted the scale, can't get away with that anymore.

Going to see it this weekend but I never expected it to be good mostly just based on Sony's track record, do want to see if Hardy's accent was any better in the final version.

I wasn't sure if I was going to see the movie but ended up going with a few friends tonight. Yeah the movie was not that good they completely got the character of venom/Eddie wrong.

This goes against absolutely everything I've heard about the movie, from several people.

Including that they nailed Eddie Brock/Venom.

I am in the minority I am sure but I really enjoyed this movie. I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I loved the Venom and Eddie interaction.

I see the complaints about the script being weak but I enjoyed it and it made for a fun afternoon. I will definitely be seeing any sequels.
