Re: The Good Doctor (ABC)

From a serialized standpoint, the episodes have been much stronger lately. Procedurally-speaking (the cases and patients themselves), meh.

However, from tonight's episode:

"Can I give you a hug too, Dr. Murphy?"

"No."

The timing of it was impeccable, and Park's reaction was priceless.

Anyway, from a business standpoint Dr. Han is pretty much on point with Shaun's placement, but not necessarily from his displacement as a surgeon either. I'm not on the SJW side of things here at all, but he shouldn't be letting Shaun's autism be any more of a considerable factor than Claire's non-religious beliefs, for example. He has pros and as a resident can continue to work on his cons to the best of his abilities.

Either way, I'm sure we'll see his return to the surgical team, but I hope it's not at the expense of Han being removed from his position because he's not exactly a bad guy here. I hope they don't paint him as one.

Not so much about her belief system but rather how she imparts it upon her patients. Many TV doctors are empathetic but few get so involved with their patients on a personal level as Claire.

The problem with Shaun's exile is that he is being called out by Han for bedside manner issues only a few weeks after being neutralized to the fetal position by a buzzing sound beyond the ceiling. If you remember he was also noticeably distracted when Han plays music in the operating room. That condition weakness seems much worse than the one that has him in pathology.

Han is a big plus to the show (IMO) so I hope he stays.

I agree, really happy Daniel Dae Kim is on the show. I actually really appreciate the diversity on this show, its nice to see multiple American asian actors.

As for the show, I agree with Han's decision and I would have probably made the same choice if I were in his position after seeing Shaun's breakdown and other things he noticed. It's gonna build up to a nice redemption for Shaun by the end of the season.

Two major league saves in one day and he gets the boot, although he was asking for the boot. I didn't realize the season finale was upon us and it looks like a great one.

Same.

Also, slowly after Shaun left his place, I was slowly starting to hope that
Spoiler

I don't know if that's actually what I would have wanted, but given what I had seen the past couple of episodes, it started to seem a bit right.

Had no idea this was the finale.
