Re: Upcoming Movies

I've liked all three A Star Is Born movies but my favorite is the 1954 Judy Garland-James Mason classic. If it's any good at all the Bradley Cooper-Lady Gaga remake will make a mint at the box office.

Re: Upcoming Movies

Is there anything new to report on the next Batman movie? Last I heard there was an issue with the director and Ben Affleck. I'm hoping we get someone else as Batman.

Firstly, I respectfully disagree.

Secondly, rumors today that it will still be directed by Matt Reeves but it will be a reboot that replaces Affleck.

Re: Upcoming Movies

Yeah, I didn't mind Affleck. It's not like he was working with quality scripts.

He's not too bad. I wouldn't be upset if he was Batman. I guess I'd just like to see a fresh face.

Re: Upcoming Movies

Not going to post trailers (because they spoil way too damn much, so I suggest you hesitate the best you can to watch them if you're interested), but I didn't know these were upcoming movies outside of the invites for the screenings that I had gone to.

There are two movies in the "screencasting" found footage sub-genre (where you see the entirety of the film through computer/phone screens) coming out called Searching (August 3rd) and Unfriended: Dark Web (July 20th). I definitely liked both, but I highly recommend you give Searching a look, but don't watch the trailers for either film. The Searching trailers don't show that much, but Dark Web shows a lot and it's just better to go into films literally not knowing anything (take it from someone who has tried it both ways).

Searching is a drama/mystery that teeters into the suspense/thriller camp, and Unfriended: Dark Web is a suspense/thriller that teeters into the horror camp.
