The only actors I have in mind are too old for the role (Costner, Hanks) they need to find an every man type as that was the main thing about the Will Kane character as played by Coop.

News starting to circulate that The Batman will finally start shooting in November.

The same one that's been discussed for a while. No idea who's going to be cast, but the script is basically finished (although Matt Reeves may continue to tweak some things).

And Reeves also said that it will still be part of the main Worlds of DC line, not one of the alternate lines.

I've heard about a film adaptation of that for YEARS now. Are they for sure doing it this time?

I think it could work if they do it as a satire like Clue.
