Both of their new Thursday comedies will be canceled. It was DOA though with the description of the show and it just wasn't great. Had some funny parts, but mostly just bland.

Anybody watching HBO's Watchmen? I was going to start an HBO subscription in a couple of months, watch the series and then cancel the subscription.

Yes, for me it's up in the air right now but that's common for HBO shows till around episode 4. It's well done, and Regina King is awesome but absolutely don't know where it's going yet. It is interesting though so I'll be watching it continually.

I can imagine if you are not familiar with the comic book you'll be like WTH is going on this is weird. It's a direct sequel to the comic not the movie and I believe 30 years after the events of the comic.

But if you have read the comic you'll get an idea why certain things are there and maybe why it's happening.

Buff City Law canceled after 10 episodes
Bless the Harts gets a 2nd season. I'll give it 1 or 2 more episodes, but it's nothing like King of the Hill.

Not surprised to see Smits get the axe. Watched the first month's worth and the show never really got off the ground.

Crazy and cool coincidence.

Simpsons 30th treehouse of horror was also their 666th episode.

Speaking of Halloween, they have a small Are You Afraid of the Dark reboot.

Doesn't seem to connect with the original series that much in terms of the original cast, but has similar style. I could see it being used to launch a new series.

Prodigal Son seasonal finale was solid. Really liked the first ten episodes, post episode preview said it was coming back in January. It's nice to get back into a drama.
