As a traditionalist, I'm certainly hoping they go with the original crew. As a realist and with the current climate in these movies, I know that they probably won't.

So the X Men are about to exist in the same world as Marvel?

Yeah they are gonna have to butcher the origin of the X Men. The whole lore of mutants is that humans evolved from them instead of being created heroes like Spider man. Magneto would be too old to come from WWII era, so Vietnam?

My guess is that Wanda and Strange will have something to do with it because of the multiverses.

I'd say the Eternals is going to have a big part in the Mutant introduction as well.

I’d go with the Jack Kirby one as he is the one who created them (it’s 19 issues, I believe, but you can get it in two volumes now), although I enjoy the Neil Gaiman one solely because he’s one of my favorite authors.

Aside from the multiverse thing potential, the Celestials creating the Eternals seems like the easiest way to create the first Mutants in the MCU.

They could also do a "Reverse Scarlet Witch" in either WandaVision or Multiverse of Madness.
