Re: [HBO/Sky] Chernobyl

Another thing that's really awesome is every episode has a nice companion podcast hosted by Peter Sagal (NPR, 'Wait, wait')

Here are the first two.

Watching it and loving it!
I am 46 years old and I once did a very large paper in college on this disaster.
Every since then I have been pretty obsessed with it.
I have probably watched 15 different DOCS on it.
While this show is a movie mini-series and not a DOC it is pretty good.
While not being totally historically true it is very entertaining.

Are there docs you'd recommend for the newly obsessed?

Re: [HBO/Sky] Chernobyl

I'm 46 (soon to be 47) and am LOVING it. It's phenomenal... I was almost 14 when this happened, but was too young to really remember all of the events and information. Also, there was very limited news at that time - no internet or twitter, or even newscasts where it was 24/7 non-stop. So I'm eating this show up and am blown away by how it emotionally pulls you in. The ending of episode 2 - wow!!

Re: [HBO/Sky] Chernobyl

Haven't watched but it's in my watchlist. Trying to get my wife to hurry up and care. Might have to watch on my own.

Leaving this here so I see the notifications and don't forget.
