Sliders make no difference, check this out...

Maybe try what I did. I bumped up all Human and CPU O sliders + Coverage, and lowered all Human and CPU D sliders + Blocking. Where you set them exactly depends on the game you prefer, but mine are basically @ 32 and 8. Moving the Pursuit slider up or down -- between 8 and 24 tops -- at that point can really make a difference in the degree of difficulty. I should also add I did do some receiver and QB editing. Both needed certain ratings bumped up to improve the CPU O play.

I find the best gameplay with almost all sliders at 0 except cpu pursuit (adjust to your liking), interception (at 40), fatigue (human 32, cpu 19), and injury and fumble around 25. From there, it's easy to make a few tweaks to get the game to play great for each individual.

I recently changed the game speed to fast, and after a couple games, things are promising. DB's seem to be playing better, and I am getting much more variety on kick returns.
