Yea, I would lvoe to see EA's faces if ESPN can get even half of the profits Madden does next year, no matter what football game they got out.

Do people remember when Madden 64 lost out on the NFL license back on Nintendo 64 days...what exactly happened with that? I know the game came out...but...how did it look? How were teams uniforms? What were teams called? What did stadiums and all the resemble?

It was just generic teams, colors were same and all that. Had the right numbers for players. Stadiums were kinda generic. It was fun though. Even had it for Turbo Graphix 16 which was my last days of video football before I took my 4 year 96-00 hiatus. It didn't have the license on Turbo Graphix 16 either, but it was still good. Had alot of fun with it there year multiplayer. But it just felt alot the same as stuff before. It had alot of cool stuff like shiver tackle hmmmm, I think they had first player cam or something like that. It was a good title, I was just getting worn. actually the players had last names, but no first names.

I wish for the players' names and team franchises of the NFL. Oh wait, I can't have that anymore.

You know what's funny? The $20 price tag for 2k5 enabled me to buy Madden this past year. If it had been $50 I would have just bought 2k5. You don't have to think too far ahead to see where this is going...Also look at the current crappy titles EA puts out every 4 months. There's the Metal of Honor series that has progressively gotten worse, the James Bond rehash that comes out every two months, and the beat goes on my friends...

I just want to see the most powerful editing tool ever made in a game. You should even be able to utilize something similar to the Xbox Music Mixers image importer to upload things like team logos, etc. to the hard drive. In NCAA Football you're able to use the players names ONLINE, so there is NO REASON why you wouldn't be able to play online with authentic teams and players, as long as YOU have the save file on YOUR Xbox. If the other person doesn't have the save file then they don't have the real teams and players etc., but if you have them, well then you're set to go.

You should be able to edit EVERYTHING in this game, from EVERY SINGLE little item of clothing a player wears, jerseys/pants/socks/helmets/gloves/handwarmers etc., to teams names, to the logos in the endzone and at the 50. Sure MOST people probably WON'T go through all the trouble of editing every little thing, but someone out there WILL. With things like Action Replay and maybe something similar the Xbox Music Mixers uploading capabilities, it'd only be a matter of time before somone out there put out an edited save file for the game. Look how big the editing and modding scenes are for Winning Eleven and Pro Evolution Soccer.

SEGA/VC, just need to step up to the plate and really support the mod scene this time around and listen to their customers ideas and suggestions as how best to combat this, NONSENSE.

Re: ESPN NFL 2K6 Wishlist

Amen to that Xboxer. You know what, I would be one of many to upload the teams, stadiums, and players I tweaked, and I'd do two or three teams a day until I had every team from the freaking 50's til present day done. That's how pissed I am. Hopefully there is a tool for the old school leather helmets as well. How cool would it be to make the Canton Bulldogs *thumbsup*

Re: ESPN NFL 2K6 Wishlist

...Here's my wishes:

1. Get rid of the tapping for speed burst. Maybe do it while wrapped up but otherwise, get rid of it.

That's it. Everyone else has brought some good ideas to this thread. Thanks.
