Sega should make a CFL game.

I would buy it. What better way to promote the CFL than with a kick *** video game? Sega has 5 years on their hands, and the CFL is their only pro football option. It's wide open football and Sega could do it up right.I think it would be a blast.

I hope they do something,I would hate to see them dump football for 5 years.

Its hard for them to even sell enough NFL copies to stay a float..I dont think they would last at all with a CFL game and probably just waste their time.

I twould never sell in the US besides the CFL while strong in Canada is still trying to shore up a consistent and strong fanbase. I think that if Acclaim were still around then that would be the perfect studio to develop such a game. You'd more likely see an arena league game.

Jackdog. You know that would be the best solution, but it ranks right up there just the same as when Midway put out the Arena (arcadish) Football League game back on the PSX. It rotted on the shelves. Even if it was the best football game on the market it wont sell anywhere near what it needs to for VC/Sega/Take Two to make any money off of it.

Take Two does have a boatload of available money due to their other interests, but be honest with yourself, are they in position to take that kind of gamble. I dont think so. While I love the thought and would thoroughly enjoy to see it happen it just isnt feasible.

The most feasible solution is for one of us hardcore gamers to come across one of these large *** lottery jackpots and buy VC's code, hire some developers/coders and get them to release them to the hardcore gamers with the NFL Shtick under wraps.

Alas none of those are going to happen, so I am going back to being pissed off at EA.
