Boycott shmoycott...
First and foremost, I'm probably just as angry about the NFL and EA Sports sleeping together as anyone. Well, maybe not as angry as many of you, because its seems so many people are threatening to boycott EA and...the NFL...come on. All these boycotts are completely pointless, if it is, in fact an attempt to get your point accross to EA. Now, on-line petitions, or letters, ok...and although petitions and letters will most likely be in vain as well, don't say you're going to boycott the NFL. I just don't see myself not watching the Super Bowl because of this ordeal. I've been playing Madden faithfully since 2001 on the PS2. I have played every one since on XBOX and will/would continue to do so. I did, however, but ESPN NFL 2K5 this year and thought it was just as good as Madden's product. It is sad to see EA snub out their competition like this instead of beating them with a better product. But I'm not going to stop playing football video games and I'm not going to stop watching the NFL.
