Again, I never said the NFL were innocent in this deal, I just said that EA are the ones that have dealt the low blow to VC, and Direct TV to Sirus, etc. I'm not too concerned with that though, I just want Sega to be able to continue with their excellent NFL games without some big bully getting in the way.

Good point. We're not sure now if some company came out of nowhere to produce one hell of a game. (Konami, anyone?)

Sadly though, an equal share of the blame should be put on the NFL but it's not. People see "EA" in that deal, and that's all they focus on.

If it were VC, you'd have a bunch of forum posters writing messages like:

I'd still be mad cause I like have choices & competition is always good for the consumer.. But It wouldn't have bothered me as much cause VC makes the game for the xbox then ports to the PS2.. Has graphics to kill for, a presenation & online leagues to die.. The custom tracks being played after a pic or TD is really cool too.. Madden is lethargic & old.. 2k5 will young, & innovative..

this is a deal they have lobbied for years for. Now You can be assured that Madden will be 49 to 59 bucks and the same engine.. same graphics same everything.
VC's game was buggy because they arent affraid to try new things. Its called inovation. Yes the game drove me crazy at times but when you play with cool people who wont exploit the glitches its a great game.
VC would have addressed the games faults....VC would have streamlined the new game and smoothed it out as well..all that at a 19.99 price point...

which makes madden cheaper.. hey you like getting your football game in september right? WRONG.. now it will be november just to get a holiday push.. So they can make more money.. MONEY......Madden isnt getting a face lift till the ps3,thats 2007..Now if VC had the rights I would be pissed too because they would sit on their *** too...
