How to fix?

I would like to know how can you stop the computer during franchise mode to sigining players with overal zero attributes?

I had the same thing happen because I got rid of all players without photos – I lowered all their overall ratings to zero – and the CPU ran out of players with ratings and started picking the zero guys.

I control all teams in franchise, so I can just go in and cut them. Another option would be to create two custom teams using players with ratings, and then transfer those players into the FA pool while filling the custom teams with zero rated guys. Then set your franchise up using just the 32 regular NFL teams.

so you just go rid of all the rookies without photos?

Yeah. I just take similarly-named scrubs with pictures who are sitting in the FA pool, use Finn's editior and turn them into QB's, RB's, WR's etc.

I guess I don't get it. So in your franchise, Larry Fitzgerald could possibly be a white guy?

Larry’s in my game because he’s got a photo. But Philip Rivers is sitting in the FA pool with a zero overall. If and when I get around to creating a “Philip Rivers”, I’ll find a LB or someone named Dan Rogers or whatever, turn him into a QB and stick him on the Chargers. And sure I’ll look for a white guy for him for obvious reasons, although even that really isn’t all that necessary IMO.

There no program like the flying flynn editior where you could remove players? So mike8027 how did you take away ricky williams in your latest download?

i dont want you to think i was trying to make a race issue out of it... i just didnt see the point in all the rookies having pictures if they arent even their real ones. Maybe you aren't much of a college football fan, but for me seeing a phillip rivers that looks like someone else would make the game even more unrealistic than with just a blank picture.
