EA spends very little money innovating Madden = EA has extra money to buy up the NFL and ESPN = no competition = not having to innovate = less money spent + being the only show in town + 85 percent of the consumers are casual gamers = bigger profit gains for EA = Bigger returns on stockholder's investments = More people wanting to pump money into EA as a company = Bigger bonuses and more money for EA VP's..... rinse and repeat.

Guess whos not in that equation? You and me, the people who demand a quality game and are passionate about it.

Hi!

really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me. I'm looking forward for your next post, I'll try to get the hang of it! click here to start download

Re: Hi!

This again? Not sure why a business like EA would have to justify purchasing an IP that was up for purchase in order to further their business.

PS, 2k sports had the ESPN licenses and chose not to renew them in 2005.

You do realize this conversation ended 7 years ago? It was just bumped by a spambot.

It is an interesting read though.
