ea sports needs to make a tennis game before making any poker games. Yes i know ea has a rep of making horribly unrealstic games, but who else can make one, because every other company is about to go bankrupt or be bought by ea and if another company does come out with a good tennis game, ea will probably just buy the licenses for the ATP and WTA

best brand in sports innovation? Maybe over the course of 20 years it has steadily been increasing, but its not where it should be with all of "competition" it had.

They need to get with the program and make a great game that will blow us all away. if not many guys will just stop buying. I guess they dont realize that its not guranteed sales, we have a choice, and video gaming is becoming less and less important with all the political real world drama lingering around.

That's the SAME exact thing I've been thinking.

It's kinda sad that all you read in the ESPN forum now is about EA and their moves.

Guys... do you NOT realize that all you're doing is spreading more news about EA? People come to this forum, and read about EA? All anyone will talk about... is EA?

Geez, get past it and focus on Sega's next football offering... but for the love of all that's holy, STOP FOCUSING ON EA! You're only doing what's better for them!

Absolutely! It's the way business works. This isn't the first time something like this has happened in the business world, and it won't be the last. If Sega/Take2/VC is serious about business, then they need to step up, and find a way to stay competitive; that is, if they intend to continue making sports video games.

EA is doing exactly what I would do if I had their capital, and was in the same business they are in, as would most of us. So I agree, we need to let it go. If EA doesn't come through with great games after all of this, then we simply don't have to fork over our cash for their product. But if the games become really great, most of us will buy them. That's just the way it is.
