Pay attention to this quote....I think they are saying they will do something with regards to football. (Link to article at bottom).

OR that football is done and they have to find work for their football developers on something else. That quote seems more like bad news to me.

Judging by the strides made over the past three or four years in all the ESPN franchises, I'd say the NFL team is one of the most talented of the bunch. So if they are broken up or assigned to another one of the divisions, I think whichever one that is will automatically get a huge jump in quality. I look forward to that, and hope those guys can stay on doing sports games!

Nah...don't be a pessimist. They would've said that the group was doing something else. They ARE going to do a football game...or else they would have said they weren't

I do find it very intriguing the way he worded it either way though.

He says the baseball team is going to do the baseball games, the basketball team is going to continue with the basketball games, but then he says they are looking for something for the football team to do.
