I think the next 2K football game will be called All Madden Football Legends 2K6?!

I think the the next football game by Rockstar will be called either All Madden Football 2K6 or Madden Football Legends 2K6. Seeing that this is Maddens final year on his contract with EA and EA picking up the ESPN license I think it all but gaurantees EA will either call there game EA Football 2006 or ESPN Football 2006, therefor I think it would be smart for Rockstar and probable that they are negotiating a contract with Madden for instant name recognition. I wouldn't even be surprised to find out that that is why Rockstar is holding off putting out a football game until 2006 is so that they can use Maddens name in there total customizable football game for instant name recognition andfight the fact that they don't have the NFL license. What do you guys think? Am I a fortune teller or just crazy?

I think you are a little of both. My problem with Madden putting his stamp on Take Two's new generic football title next year is that he will want to do the commentary on it too. I don't mind having the name in there to help boost sales but as far as Madden having anything to do with how the game plays, looks, and sounds, I say HANDS OFF OLD MAN!

My biggest Madden laugh was with the 02 PC version – the last Madden I ever bought. He had a line in there about “Too much pop!” Well, here in Canada, soda is called pop, so whenever I heard him going on about having too much pop, I imagined him waddling around the announcer’s booth with a fistful of hot dogs, complaining about his stomach and about all the grub he’d been wolfing down during the game
