When did you start playing the 2K football franchise?

The Dreamcast was really ahead of its time. One of the best features the Dreamcast had (for sports games anyway) was the VMU. You could call your plays in 2K from your controller so the other person couldn't see the plays you were calling.

The same with me, I've been playing this since the first day it came out, The only differnce is with me, I always bought both games, I'm just an NFL freak....lol

I started with 2K3. OS is the place that made me interested in the game. Back then, this site was primarily a 2K fans site. I remember picking up 2K3 about 3 months after the season was over and I made a post saying now I see what all the big fuss is about. From then on, I was hooked. Well not hooked as I gave Madden a fair shake each year but I always wound up keeping 2K over Madden.

Ditto for me, except I stopped getting Madden after 2002. 2K and NCAA were always the perfect mix for me each season... i'm going to try just sticking with 2K5 again this year for my NFL fix.

NFL 2K1. I wanted to get a PS2, and Madden 2001, but I wasn't able to find one. So I bought a DC, and played 2K1. I liked it, but not as much as Madden, so I switched back to Madden in 2002. Then I bought 2K3, and each 2K game after.
