2KSports Statement?

How many are a little bit upset that 2KSports or even Take Two never released a statement thanking the fans for all the efforts that we have put into purchasing the NFL2K games?

VC thanked us year after year by putting out a quality product that was dramatically improved instead of just putting out the same game every year with just a roster update and an "innovative" gimmick *coughMaddencough*.

It's funny to me that people who purchase a product feel that the company who produces it owes them something personally. VC/TT/Sega/Ea,etc. are companies built to make money-you are a consumer meant to spend money. All these companies care about is getting your money, not you personally. Making a quality product is a means to an end...getting your money. Do you think Take Two sold 2k5 for $19.99 just to make people happy? No, they did it to move product and increase market share...to make more money. Why do you think Madden does not get dramatic improvements every year(graphics, mario running)? It doesn't have to, people will buy it no matter what. These companies are not some Mom & Pop operation in your neighborhood who know every customer that comes in their store by name, these are multi-million dollar companies whose only concern is how much money they make. It sounds harsh, but that's the reality of the sitaution. The days of companies caring about "the little people" are long gone.

Not really upset at all...

Did the people who created Robocop thank us for all of our efforts after they decided no more Robocop movies?

Did the people at Seinfeld thank us for all the years we watched the show when they decided to end it?

Did Stone Temple Pilots thank us for buying so many of their albums when they broke up?

I think you're asking a little too much from a company that just makes video games.
