So I am thinking about picking this game up again.

I had it last year and remember that there was an interception problem and the franchise had a bunch of little quirks, like big names getting traded and a messed up draft.

So if I would by the game, has there been fixes found out for these bugs. I have read a few things about rosters that people have made.

I really can't get into Madden this year, it just feels way to like last year. Plus I remeber liking this game a lot but was frustrated with the bugs.

any help on rosters and sliders would be great.

Check the rosters section for dreaded steelers roster set. It is updated and includes most rookies. Everyone was advanced a year also which is unbelievable. Nickchew I believe is taking over the roster editing now that dreaded has had enough of roster editing for awhile. Check it out, its a great set of rosters. Nickchew's site gamechewover.com has a great set of sliders also. His site is the home of The 2K5 editing project, keep 2K alive!! On another note, if you use FlyingFinns editor you can update the game to have the real 2005 schedule. Jump on it!!

With dreadeds rosters, can you play a franchise or does it freeze. I heard that Nickchew's freeze after 1 year?

If this is the case do you only play one season and then start over, or do some rosters not freeze up?

How do I use Finn's editor to do the 2005 schedule?

I have simmed a season twice with dreaded rosters and then tried the draft manually and have not it freeze up on me at all. His roster set seems to not have any freezing problems. BTW, the 2K5 can be bought used for $7.99 at EB right now. What a freaking deal.
