Today at the Sports Gaming Convention we had a chance to sit down with Greg Thomas of 2k sports and ask him a few questions about the projects he's been working on as of late. When asked how NBA2K6 was coming along he said "Very well, the game is looking fantastic, we can't wait to show you what we've done with it since E3." The really big shocker came when asked if 2k sports would ever make a football game again, he just smiled and said, "Wait until X05."

I can vouch that the article was INDEED there at Ign.com but they removed it promptly it seems. It was probally removed by 2k request..maybe for X05 surprise..lets hope so!

What is X05? Guess I need to save up for ANOTHER GAME!! Oh, the joy of having this game. Think about it too. What if this game is so sweet looking on the XBOX and it gives competition to the Madden 360 version? What if it steals sales? I feel kind of bad for EA seriously cause so much is at stake and them boys look like they're coming up short a little too late. From now on fellas, ya'll gotta save things like that. When is the X05 by the way??

This would be awesome if we do get an XBOX360 version of NFL2K under another name obviously.
