I was enjoying playing madden but once I discovered the RB glitch it ruined the online and offline modes for me. I have since traded in Madden 06 and play 2K5 which can be had for about $5. What a deal.

Yep. I really tried this year too--as I love franchise (one area Madden truly does excel). But the on field play is just so awful that it's back to 2K.

I really like Madden '06, mainly because of the passing cone. Once you get used to it, it really adds alot to the overall gameplay. But that is the only aspect of Madden I like better than 2k5. It would be cool if the next VC game had something similar to vision passing but a little more intuitive.

Like others have said, if I had never played 2k5 I'd prolly think Madden was a pretty good game. I wouldn't complain about the running game really, but the superman DB's and LB's would definately urk me.

I'm sure I'd be playing it alot, like I do with NCAA '06 just cause I NEED a college football fix.

After playing one Season of Madden 06 I've pretty much had it...Im playing 2k5 and NCAA 06 almost exclusively

Even though NCAA has been one of my favorite titles ever, I have been able to play more than 5 games since I've bought it on the day it came out..It just doesnt do it for me...I popped it in the other day and once I seen a OT do the Michael Jackson back slide and watch my QB get sacked I took that shyt out so fast I almost broke the door on my X-Box..Just watching the way to OL & DL engage eachother make me feel completely raped for buying these EA products.

Damn 2K/VC for showing me what football gaming could actually be..
