Yea, this was the one time EA did keep they're word so its nobodys fault if we bought the first 2 versions except our own. I wish EA would take that approach more often. It seems like the Tiburon team thinks the fanbase is a bunch of idiots. Remember "there are more than 1 million diffrent conbinations when creating a stadium in owners mode". Umm...hows about 1 dozen.

And another thing, why is EA the only company to never have a guy visit forums and discuss the game with us curious consumers? They'll get a much better rep if they did that.

Holy smokes. Where have I been? Is the MVP/NCAA design team affliated with EA in any way? MVP is a classic example of how EA should make their games. The never gave us BS excuses and in fact, they added so much to that game over the course of 3 years. Its pretty scary to think that this was a EA published game.

I think madden is such a cash cow that it sits on a whole different playing field than other titles they make. It all comes down to dollars and cents, otherwise we wouldnt have these games to begin with. Madden knows their games will sell. They could put a turd in the madden case and still make millions, because people buy that name. Why put millions into development when you already have a product that sells more games than all your others combined? it does not make good business sense. Now, we get screwed in the end, and it is partly our fault. We still buy it every year, even though we know it will still be the same thing we got the year before. It is a cycle that results in hundreds of millions of dollars to EA.

Now thats real talk. Sadly, the reality is for the next 5 years most of us will have little to no interest in Madden football with no alternatives to try. I cant for the life of me understand how ppl accept Madden. Its fun no doubt but its seriously lacking in alot of fundemental football areas which in turn, turns off the sim gamer crowd. I does not deserve to be the only Pro game in town.

Yeah man, I'm actually excited for an NCAA baseball game! Never thought I'd write/say that.

And my interest for Madden, if I had to measure it, is at about 40% now after seeing their latest vids...

For a second I thought EA was gonna wow me with Madden 360. I honestly thought that I was gonna walk away impressed. My standards were already low so when I heard that there was'nt gang tackles and the presentation was "on the field", I did'nt like it but I was'nt gonna make that much of a deal about it. But to see no refs, no chaingang and that "intro I already want to skip" along with the same unemotional gameplay, I wanted to rip my hair out. I'm at 0% after the vids. I've never been so turned off in my life. I'd rather have a chick who has a flatulence problem than that game now.

As for NCAA, I'll give it some play along with World Series next year. I can already see both games having some good qualities to them. Here's to hoping NCAA Baseball does'nt go a NCAA football route.
