It may be wishful thinking, but I think EA and 2K should collabarate. I look at 2K5 and it was a real great game, the presentation was the best I've ever seen. I love the Sportscenter idea, and that's what is making me come back to the game. But the gameplay isnt as smooth as in fluid like Madden's, For instance cutting around corners and the running. If EA and 2K would put both thier ideas into Madden Next Gen and Current Gen then it will defintly be the top-selling game Madden used to be which isnt anymore. Just my 2 cents, but I think it would resolve alot of issues in both games and make everyone happy.

EA are too full of themselves to take on an "inferior" team like VC.

While the 2k series had some issues with the running game, I would take it any day over the pinball running game that has plagued the Madden series for years. I also feel the 2k series was much more fluid and realistic than Madden, and a far better representation of football.

And don't hold your breath on any sort of a merger...

maddens animations do flow smoother--but that's because there are hardly any to beggin with

and your monkey nutts talking about madden has a better running game get out of here..2k3 had the best running game and 2k5 comes in very close second..

What if Microsoft made an NFL football game with 2k sports? Is that even possible? EA has exclusive 3rd party rights.

Nope.

That's how the MLB deal is structured, where first party companies can still make games. Not so with the NFL deal.
