HELP with Finn's editor - version 2.0.1.70

I'm using this version because ipeople have said its the most stable.

Well, I renamed 18 players in free agency and now there are players who have the same first and last name. Its always the last name that is doubled.

For example, there's a WR named Ron Johnson and his name is now Johnson Johnson. There's five in free agency and others scattered around on teams.

I want to know what causes this to happen and if there's a way to avoid it from happening. Thanks.

Actual renaming does not work until the latest versions. In .70, you could pick different names from the list of available names without problem but actually typing in a new name had flaws in that version.

Does the actual typing work in your last editor (version .267)?

Question.

Did anyone have any problems with adding too many extra names to this editor?? Not overwriting but actually adding names.

I'm working on changing names in game in the player create mode, then going into the editor to pick that particular name for re-edit someone. I then change the created player back to his original name in the editor. And repeat the process.

I've made about 10 new players this way so far with no problems but if there is one, I guess I have no reason to continue.

Sorry Dan, I forgot to also mention in one of my previous emails not to rename players in V.70. V.70 is stable for editing and selecting names from the list, but never type in names. The reason this was the last stable editor for me is that I never received a lockup with my files using this version. I apologize again as I should have been specific yesterday.
