Dude, I remade the entire XFL on my PC Madden 06 (I don't quite know why I like the XFL so much, but alas, I do)... if I could somehow get em in a 2K Sports game, I'd be a very happy man.

One thing I haven't seen anyone mention that I think would be kind've cool is,

what if you could play some 11-on-11 games online? It would kind've be like getting together for a pickup game with a bunch of friends. VC was the first to master online football, over a 56k modem no less back on the dreamcast, I bet they could pull something like that off. Madden's probably years away from being able to do it. Throw in the ability to play in First Person Football mode, and I'd be first in line to put my $59.99 down. I wouldn't care if it otherwise used the old 2k engine, with a few tweaks.

I can't believe EA has the NFL, NCAA, and Arena.

Legends doesn't really interest me, except of course for the gameplay. The Playmakers type of thing might be of more of an interest from me, but Blitz already has that and 1 game like that is probably enough.

The thing with that (11v11 online) is that, realistically, no one wants to play offensive lineman. Otherwise, I'd go for it.

Blasphemy!!

In any event, a legends game could be quite fun, but realistically, you guys know how much work it's going to take to get all these guys signed to individual licensing agreements?

They better be offering a flate rate because if they're rating the cost of the license based on the popularity of the player, they're going to have some MAJOR headaches with people who think they were a lot better than they actually were.

Re: IGN Predicts 2K will make a football game

Its all about gameplay. I can figure out who devon bush on NCAA 2006 without his name. I can also figure out who McNair, McNabb, Moss, Vick, and other players without their names. I could figure out players in Blitz with their fake names. I just want a real next gen football game before I buy the 360.
