2K sports is not currently working on a football title. It was confirmed to me today by an 'unnamed source' at 2K sports while I was doing research for a story I am writing. I will provide a link to the story upon it's arrival on the web.

That sucks, here I was hoping that they were working on their next masterpiece. Oh well, as long as the football team continues to assist with the basketball game. And since they have some free time, get them over to the hockey, college bball, and baseball games to help with the tweaking.

I will say this...The official line at 2K is that they have no plans for a football game. If you ask any person at 2K on the record (and some off) they will say there is no game. However, I have heard rumblings from a few very reliable sources that they have been working on a game. Will it be released? Who knows. All I can say for sure is that we wont see one in 2006.

I would never question your's or any1s source... and I have no personal knowledge of 2K's future football plans... but with all due respect, I don't believe it...!!!! It may just be what 2K want us to think... I'm most confident that this is nothing more than disinformation/ruse...

Why wait this long to intimate "no new game"...... But, I have a very good idea as to why they would say this....

Edit... If and when 2Ksports makes an "Official press release" pro or con... then I'll say believe, but until then all any1 can do is speculate... ponder... and offer rank conjecture.....
