Those even considering Madden for the 360 STOP! right now.

So I traded in my xbox and 2k5 bought my brand new 360 (mainly for sports games and the new madden 07. 360 madden has got to be the best, right! The commercials with Bush running look great! ESPN license. Even if its not perfect right away, its got to be really good right!

And then I tried to get the game everywhere before the 22nd, no deal. Finally the 22nd comes and the bomb drops. I could not believe how bad this game is.

The good the uniforms and stadiums look great. Gameplay we can argue madden or 2K5(similiar)

The same cutscenes of the d-line between plays over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over! it is boring as hell. The panningof the stadiums pieces of concrete for no reason. The stuttering when panning of players and the stadiums. The players all look like muscle-bound weightlifters.
The pathetic franchise and hard to read menues. The blurred stadium views.
The same entrance of players(see the over and over section above) The immediate coin toss just gets boring.

While Madden 07 has prettygraphics, thats it. Nothing else on 2k5

I'm embarrassed for madden.

Meanwhile, sold the 360 for 50 less then I paid for and of course traded in madden 360. Got an xbox and 2k5.

I'm sure i'll pick it up or ps3 when there is a price drop. But during the season I play football.


Not a fanboy, just looking for the best football game out there!

well, madden 2007 is an improvement over last year for 360 and since i have options and sometimes throw too much dough around for my own good i also have the current gen madden 07 and ncaa (xbox and ps2). and i have to say ive played a ratio of about 9-1 more playing time on current gen ncaa and im probably gonna do the same for madden 07.. Idk, right now gamestop is having a deal to trade in 2 360 games and getting any new game for 9.99... well saints row is next week and im really thinking about it..
to me the current gen ncaa and maddens are just more fun and yea the grafics are beatiful on 360 but its like pouring purfume on a pig when the gameplay sucks..
as far as NFL 2K5 GOES .. IT IS THE BEST SPORTS GAMING YOU CAN GET FOR YOUR DOLLAR OR 2 DOLLARS , CUZ THATS HOW MUCH A USED COPY AT GAMESTOP IS (1.99). AND WITH ALL THE SITES AND FILES OUT THERE LIKE FINN'S EDITOR , SCHEDULE AND GCO ROSTERS ITS CAN STILL BE UP TO DATE. THE GAME IS 3 YEARS OLD CURRENT GEN AND BLOWS MADDEN 360 AWAY,,IMAGINE IF EA WASNT SOO SCARED OF VISUAL CONCEPTS THAT INSTEAD OF JUST MAKING A BETTER GAME AND COMPETING THEY HAD TO THROW MONEY AROUND AND TAKE AWAY OUR OPTIONS. A 360 2K SPORTS NFL TITLE WOULD MAKE MY SHORTS WET....
