As if the NFL gives a f*ck! Come on, are you that naive?

This videogame licensing deal is minor in the grand scheme of NFL marketing and sponsorship. It's just a blip on the radar screen, and a couple of barking teen-agers with scrawled signs outside of NFL headquarters won't change a thing.

It's a f*cking video game, for Christ's sake. Get some perspective. Why don't you take the time you were going to picket and volunteer with kids or donate blood in your community?

Take care,
PK

Haha, that'd be awesome. If I saw one of those signs on TV, I'd go crazy.

I think your post is kind of harsh. This is a video game site.

Well, the poor sap he directed those comments towards only has 4 posts here, so that justifies it, doesn't it?

Honestly, I didn't even look. I would have replied the same whether the original poster had four or 4,000 posts.

Look, all 2K football gamers were upset when the deal was announced. I was, too. But that was 1 1/2 years ago, so get over it. Just make do with "NFL 2K7," NFL 2K5 updated with community rosters. It's still better than Madden.

Yeah, this is a video game site. But that doesn't mean we have to treat video games as life and death, which some people do here. Seriously, we have war in the Middle East, kids dying daily from cancer and genocide in Africa, and we're thinking of picketing NFL headquarters over a video game?

Food for thought.

Take care,
PK
