Mass Substitutions?

Is the game programmed to mass sub in my second unit? I'm in the 6th game of year 1 with the default New York Giants. Not that that matters but ya know. Anyway, I'm giving it to the Lions, 35-14 and we get the ball back and I notice that none of my defensive starters is in the game. Well, we get a pick and I notice that none of my offensive starters is in the game.

If it's programmed to mass sub in a blowout then that's pretty cool!

Well dang, now all of my defensive starters are back!

I'm so confused!

Re: Mass Substitutions?

Not sure at what point but when you or the cpu get a big lead, the game will auto-sub in the 4th quarter.

Re: Mass Substitutions?

I've never had the computer mass sub out my starters when I was way ahead. I always had to do that manually. However I have noticed when I'm getting destroyed that the computer will mass sub themselves out. Of course I don't get blown out often now that I learned to control the game instead of chucking the ball so much. lol
